COVID-19: 90-yr-old man dies at SKIMS, toll reaches 24 in JK | KNO

Srinagar, May 26 (KNO): A 90-year-old man from South Kashmir's Kulgam district died due to COVID-19 at SKIMS on Tuesday, thus taking the total death toll due to virus in Jammu and Kashmir to 24. Medical Superintendent, SKIMS, Dr. Farooq Jan told  news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a 90-year-old man from Kulgam who was referred from GMC Anantnag on Monday afternoon died at isolation facility of SKIMS on Tuesday morning The patient was suffering from pneumonia besides having history of chest disease, he said, adding that soon after he was admitted in the hospital,  his samples were taken and that came positive on Monday evening. Notably, the death toll due to COVID-19 has gone up to 24 including 21 from Kashmir division and 3 from Jammu division—(KNO)
